Artist's Comments

This is a copy of Roget's Thesaurus, which has no publishing date printed inside, so I can't tell you how old it is exactly. On the inside of the front cover is a bookplate reading "Library of Rabbi Joseph Blatt" and the notations "Shelf B No. 44." The editor's preface is dated 1879, so that is my best guess as to the publishing date. It is quite fragile and the cover is coming off of the spine.

If anyone needs any additional photos, please ask!

a little camera shake....

was going to scan / photograph some old hymn books a guy had at work, but I left that job... oh well
