Those of you watching both this and my

account, I apologize for the double deviationing.

In this totally self-indulgent piece, I toyed with the idea of Vanity, Self-Love, Conceit, etc. as this uses two images of myself. It's a pretty silly notion, but since I had two images that seemed to go so well together, I thought, 'Why not?"

Other ideas began to form as the piece took shape: Mary visited by the angel (yeah, so Gabriel was male. It's art, m'kay?) I thought this could also be an image of death or of dreaming, when the soul takes flight for a night or forever.

In the end, I'm leaving it up to you to decide. I hope you find it peaceful and serene, not at all dark or imposing. I had fun doing it, and since I am still using Tim's PC, I am without my precious stock archives and PS brushes. (I don't want to junk up his compy by uploading a bunch of stuff.)

I don't know if it has been said yet, but the first thing I thought of was "letting go." Letting go of one's past, pain, inhibitions, and the like. Very beautiful piece, both the model & its artisticness (that may not actually be a word ^^' )
